Awmigawd

It's so beautiful sounding, the whole thing is straight edge and trippy all the same.
I've been listening to it on loop for some time now. I love it, seriously love it!

you're in a new league now I see <3

InvisibleObserver responds:

Up, up and away!

WHY THE LOW RATING? D:

I lub this :3
It's very different, but even if it is dance music, you'll probably want to keep it in the video game area.
At 1:10 the pitch swings are a little fast, if you would slow them down to the point where they don't reach the top or so before the next not plays at that down-point. It just might be a bigger blast.

But thanks for the song that's different from the rest.

RoccoW responds:

To be honest, I thought it would be easy to change it back to "Video Game", but I soon discovered that was harder then I expected... I suck

I'm also an EQ noob

I just learned allot of cool idea's from NikolaosTheDark.

But basically a decent Wobble is made of 3 oscillators, 2 with Filters one on both oscillators or one on each. And A Separate Oscillator for Subs that sometimes takes no part in the wobble.
If you're using WaspXT, assuming you're using fruityloops, for your wobble.
You set the wobbles to the higher tones and then the sub on a separate oscillator.
Like with DX10 VSTi or something
( I just now noticed you say that in your response to you know who, my bad )

As far as mastering a song, As soon as you think you have it finished you want to go back and listen to the song over through anything from the best stereo you own to the cheap headphones to make sure it's just right.

Makes me feel a bit hypocritical for saying you should do that as I don't always, but it's always a good practice.

EricFreeman responds:

I used sytrus to make all the synths I used in this song, but I understand what you're saying somewhat and I'll have to try that out on a future song.

Hm, I'll try using some crappy earbuds I have lying around the apt; thanks for the tip.

Thanks for listening, and for the advice!

Butterscotch yo!

I need more bass in my speakers ;)
You need less cramming and something more melodic.

madnessassault responds:

then listen to some of my other songs, cuz this one is all about cramming :P

Good as Heck

Yeah, I have everything ready to do stuff like this but the Gameboy dmg, hahah.
Loved it.

HolyKonni responds:

thanks good luck with your own projects dude!

A slight glaze of Ice light

The mixing is fairly decent, the guitar is too loud over the rest of the instruments as it builds. About 1 minute in makes it difficult to listen to other instruments. The throw in of the extra drums are nice, but the bells are too loud here, drowning out the sweet guitar and whatever other instruments there might have been that I couldn't make out.

8/10 x 5/5

Linktrx responds:

Thanks for the review man, your suggestion has been taken!

Never mind the first impression!

At First, I was like, aw this intro is crap. Sexond I was like Oh sex! It's got a bad first impression is all. I hope people read this before they blam, or listen to the whole song.

Anyways, the glitch spouts aren't exactly keen on my ears. Around 2:30 it looses too much impact. At 2:57 it feels like a good comeback for the climax and then it ends.

I'm guessing this is clip from a large mix or a continuous record album.

Bluepulse responds:

You guessed right! I'm just barely finishing uploading Black White - the mashup mix-album :)

What it needs you wonder?

A soft fret-less bass. Playing going downwards and upwards, similar to the pad like thing.
What tempo is this btw? I would like to see if I'm able to make the bass sound the way I'm imagining.

As far as what the other guy said, I agree, but it is still a sad song. It honestly fits what he said 100%. Though it's more like at the end of the game, where you have to say goodbye and go home.
When I think of this, I almost cry from the Epicness!
But yes, definitely needs a soft bass of some sort around 0:27 or 0:36 playing.

DDman465 responds:

Tempo is exactly 160bpm. I was thinking it could use something like that to give it a more dramatic feel. Try whatever you want.

Then again the "emptiness" has a nice touch.

Chiptune = Chip generated sounds

Though it's hard to compile things with just chiptune. I'm a little disappointed in the missing crispness of a pure chiptune. But it's processed, so I still dig it allot.

Bunnymajs responds:

well i dont call what i do "chiptune" :)
Eather its "modern 8bit" witch i would say is a synonym for "fakebit" or just "bitpop"
Anyhow i see where your comming from, its pretty "clean" and soft tho i made this song before i knew how to make it more crisp :)
But thanks man! i appriciate you thoughts :)

well

I'm happy when I see the numbers rise on the rating, but unfortunately I didn't do you much justice.

YouriX responds:

Nahh dont worry you did all you can ;)

I draw pinups, tomgirls, and the occasional smut. I make music for fun. No Requests.
(This account is stupid old & you can find stupid old edgy stuff on it. Go easy on me.)
