I draw pinups, fembois, and the occasional smut. I make music too, but not as much as I used to.
Don't ask me for free stuff.
(Also, this account is stupid old and there's stupid old stuff on it. Go easy on me.)

2019 Music Goals

Posted by RawGreen - March 19th, 2019

My goals for 2019 onward and posting music on Newgrounds are pretty simple.

  1. All licensing information up front so people know if they can or cannot use it.
  2. Song Specifics like tempo.
  3. Tools and effects used.

Newgrounds will automatically display CC 3.0 but I'm a pretty big fan of the CC BY 4.0 license.

You can read up on it here:

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ (Simplified)

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode (Full)

And here's a comparison of what's new in the 4.0 License that previous versions do not have.

https://creativecommons.org/share-your-work/licensing-considerations/version4/

This news post is here to remind myself when I post music to follow these formats,

And if you want to follow this format too, that's up to you.

Here are the formats for text I will be using;

Short Description; X BPM - License Abbreviation - Type of Track

Example; 140 BPM - CC BY 4.0 - Free Techno Beat

Full Description;

Full License Name

Link to License Deed

Tempo xxx

Content ID, Yes or No (For YouTube engine)

DAW: Version and Build

Instrument: Plugin Used.

Sample: Name of Licensor.

Effects Used Include;

List of effects Plugins.

List of stock effects Plugins.

Other Licensing Information.

Creative Commons 4.0 requires notable mentions of work contained that it itself is not under a Creative Commons License. In some cases I may have licensed samples that require individual licenses if isolated.
