What does it Take!?

I want to become better at music but no matter how hard I try all these negative feelings are put on me.
What does it take to become better if learning how to make good music isn't good enough?

Talent is the most important part of art and it cannot be learned only found and honed. I'm not saying anything bad on your music (haven't heard it) but a lot of people seem to think they can do anything as long as they take some class or something.
I have a high capacity imagination.
If I push my mind to see something I can see whatever it is as if it were right in front of me, same applies for hearing sound.
I've wondered if I was crazy for doing this with my mind but it seems to be my best tool.
I can see/hear something someone else made and hone in on a specific sound or technique and use/recreate it later.
It's already honed in on somewhat... I wonder what I could do if I pushed my imagination further....
